Good Computers for Drawing?

I have a Wacom Intuos wired tablet, USB plug, but the old computer I used for it died a few months back. With the holidays coming up, I should have enough of a budget to purchase a new computer of some type. Do you all have any suggestions of what you use?

I already purchased Hamilton tickets, four of them, for the family which ran us $700+ so I do hope for a cheaper computer, but if my sister and I combine funds we can make probably $600-$700 for a shared computer.

It depends on the art software you want to use, but virtually any modern computer is capable of running most if not all art software, the only heavier art software is Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe software

I do recommend saving up more money because $300-$450 will only get you a very bare bones or very old/secondhand computer if you even manage to find a computer (that is not a Notebook) for that price at all, unless you somehow find an amazing sale $300-$450 isn't going to be enough, if you want a decent/good working computer you're going to look at a minimum of at least $500/$600

Sounds good, thanks. We can probably manage 500-600, just going to have to end up sharing with my sister which is totally manageable!

I can't recommend a specific computer but do suggest something with at least 8gb of ram and 500gb storage. Adobe recommends 8GB ram to run photoshop if you're using it, but you'll want more ram anyway if you'll be running a browser (for references) or a music program alongside it. You'll also want at least 500gb of storage to install software and save your documents.

I think you can find some decent ones with those specs for a lower price. I'm currently looking for a laptop for artwork as well so I'll link some if I come across any that stand out.
