The Leodon Appears!

The Leodon has appeared, with over a one hundred vote lead over the other suggested names. 
Precious little plushes for the Leodon have appeared in the Plunder Shop at 150 PP.
This circular morphing potion is pretty sharp though, so be careful when you pick it up! It's 150 PP as well.
However, those are only if you wish to collect morphing potions and plushes! Octavia believes that everyone should get a chance to have a Leodon in their village. Use this special code to collect a Leodon Morphing Potion and introduce one to your village today!
Low on Plunder Points? The Gold Mythic Creature Statue (worth 9 PP) has been added to the FurDollar Emporium Shop for 30 FD. Stock up if you have any remaining items you want to grab before the event!
The event's new end date is September 7, 2017. This gives you an extra week past the original end date to continue plundering and gathering the items you want! The FD sale will also end on September 7.

i am so late i was not even able to get one of those potions but they look adorable
This has been a fun event. Will it end as the 7th begins, just after midnight, or around noon, or some other time? I would love to make the most of it, down to the last moments if possible. My understanding is that all unused ship materials and plunder will disappear from our inventory, correct? I'd like to be certain that I make every map I can, and use my leftover fragments to cash in for Fur Gems. I was also wondering about plain Driftwood.. it can be sold as a Rare item, while all other event materials can only be discarded as Limited items. Is this an error and it was meant to be Limited, or might Driftwood have a future purpose? I'm going to kick myself if I've been feeding a longterm material back into the site rather than building up my stash.
It'd be really helpful to include information on whether or not the Leodons are an annual Oceandome event species or if for some strange reason exclusive to just this one event... Either way, I love them and I hope they do come back every year
