Daily breeding charges have temporarily been increased to 250 from 50.

This will decrease to the usual 50 charges at the end of the festival.

Update: It seems you can only breed 123 pets currently. We're investigating this.

    • I guess none of the investigators got anywhere *eyes the date* welp.

    • I am curious why I only bred 123/250 breedings when the cap was removed for this event. I got this message https://prnt.sc/htnk40 I still had some breedings left. Is this a glitch with the event?

    • maybe.. someone has to alter the datatype entry for the amount of the daily breedings from tinyint (ranges from -127 to +127...) to unsigned tinyint (0 to +255) so a max. amount of up to 255 breedings a day were possible. That wouldn´t increase the size of the db at all. Or alter it to smallint (-32768 to 32767 normal. 0 to 65535 Unsigned). ^^

    • why leave the cap at all? just remove the thing entirely until AH can be revamped, it has worked perfectly fine without until like I said entitled beggars started complaining about too much stuff at the giving tree (which was an issue staff back then preferred to address, by making AH worse over heeding the couple of threads by AHers that had a multitude of suggestions as to how to better the career, but those suggestive threads were confined to 1 or 2 active threads at any given time, which is very easy to overlook especially if one didn't care about the career, whereas stupid whining/complaining threads could be found created multiple times throughout the day simply because many people were too lazy to look throughout the tree for free items and were somehow entitled to having non junk items). =_=

it's not like people will actually breed 250+ pets every day after snowpets are done, it'll be very nice to be able to breed every single FDE pet I paid for at the end of the month on my own especially if RNG has been shit the entire month with them (it is extremely tedious to send out bulk trades to people to breed them and when my friends are out of charges I end up having to fork out MORE money to get them bred and despite all that, sometimes I end up with no SRs, my breeding them myself might have yield similar results but if I'm putting up for failure, might as well save me all the trouble of having to make threads, set up trades, and having to manage and coordinate invent space with the person helping me, all while waiting for them to be done so I HAVE to be online to accept trades, if not I feel very bad for leaving them hanging, if I'm doing it for nothing at the end of the day, it's honestly exhausting), even with ridiculous hoards of harems I actually ran out of stuff to breed yesterday before fully utilizing all my charges because pets already have cooldowns to begin with. please remove this dumb cap entirely until a fix for AH comes especially since monthly FDE pets are a thing. =/

that said I do appreciate the extra charges during the event, this way, even with some people failing so bad, at least with a whole bunch of people being successful, it won't be so expensive to buy? (hopefully) it's such a bummer to see people fail despite putting in all that effort though...

As far as we've been able to figure out, there seems to be a hard-cap on breeding at 123 (or 127, in some cases). Regardless, it seems better to leave it as-is rather than risk breaking it entirely during the event.

    • Yeah it's still doing that... And I even had enough females to breed. Darn.

Admin-Wisteria Hope you don't mind the ping, although has there been any news on this? ^^

    • Thanks for the extra breeding charges even if it remains 127! ^_^

    • I wonder if this will actually get fixed before the end of the month lol... Even if we didn't get the bonus 200 breeding charges I still appreciate the extra 77.

    • Admin-Wisteria I can breed down to 123/250, so it's actually letting me breed 127 a day before hitting that odd limit. Not sure if that's what you meant or not.
