It's a toss up between Sayori and Monika for best girl. But they're all best in their own way. I actually picked Yuri the first time I played lol. I have a soft spot for nerdy loners
I don't suggest yandere animes. Actually I noticed a LOT of animes are pretty dark. But I like that in an animated setting so I seek it out sometimes.
There's mods you can get to save everyone from their situations. But I personally use the Monika after story mod because Monika is best... But I think judging by my username you could tell my opinion on her lol
The gore in GOT is pretty detailed I'll give them that. It's much easier to do animated stuff than realistic. They have a good budget lol.
And yeah, there is a yandere in it who's obsessed with the main protag.

Yeah, I'm okay with animated/fantasy gore, but the real stuff? no freaking way. Like if it's something like GOT I'm fine since it's obviously not real,. So I feel you on that.
And yeah, I watched an anime called Mirai Nikki recently and that is certainly one to avoid if you don't like gore wow. I went into it completely blind.
I will admit, there is one part of the game that messed me up for a bit just because they managed to slip my ultimate unreasonable phobia in the game.
I've played it enough times that I'm used to it now but holy crap. I was warned that would be there but I didn't expect it to be so specific toward my fear.
