I was in QP earlier this month for dragon spikes and could one/two shot most village monsters with frostfire and a hit with a discourse sword (I think I was running 14 int at the time?).
I've no clue how to beat the serpent though, haha. High int usually comes from scholarly robes, and that's got very little mitigation. Ask around the QP forums?
I moved back to OD partially because it's my hometown and largely because someone had shared an OD build with me.
