Calling all artists!
We are hosting an official Paintie contest to give our newest NPC, Gambit, a special Paintie all their own!
I need a new fit!
Special Note for this Contest
Should your Paintie win the Grand Prize of being used on-site to represent Gambit, the artwork will become the sole and exclusive property of Furvilla. Furvilla reserves the right to use the winning artwork in perpetuity. A credit to your user profile will remain on Gambit's profile.

Also, because the question is sure to arise, we are still working with our regular artists for site content! Giving Gambit a user-created Paintie just made sense.

We are delighted to announce that in cooperation with one of our talented users, Necroam #10245, Furvilla now has minigames!
The minigames work through Tampermonkey scripts on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox!

We hope this addition will bring you much enjoyment!

As of now, Furvilla is 100% Free-to-Play with no ads. Our merch link has been updated to our shipping partner's online store, and they will be handling the sale of the last remaining goods until they are gone.
Thank you to those who purchased FD and merch in the last few weeks.

Players can now visit the Fair Exchange to exchange FC to FD and vice versa.

Snow Festival 2025

Every year, the Snow Fairies come out of hiding to play with the residents of Tigereye Peak and help us greet the chilly winter season. We've encouraged them to travel far and wide across Furvilla, so you'll be able to celebrate with them too!

Find the Fairies!
Many types of fairies will befriend your Explorers. Some will drop festival-specific stickers, stones or other items. Others will give a boon to your villagers. You may learn about each of these fairies at the Snow Festival Hub!
As you explore, you'll encounter fairies easily at first. As you collect a lot of fairies, they will slowly become more rare. Don’t worry though, this resets every even hour, then they will become plentiful again!
Here is but a taste of the new items found in Fairies in this Year's Snow Festival!
Fairy Updates!
The Feast Fairy has a chance to drop new foods! These new delightful dishes can also be sometimes found in the festival's battleground, The Northernmost Rim.
Yum!
The Stone Fairy has a chance to drop a Mysterious Snow Festival Stone, if you are very lucky!
Oooh! Stone-y!
Snow Pets and The Water of Life
Let it snow!
The Snow Festival Snow Pet Fairy drops the following special Snow Pets, which you may keep for yourself, or donate.
There are 23 varieties of Snow Pets to collect, available in all rarities.
By donating any Snow Pet to Rainbow Falls, (accessible from the Snow Festival Hub), you will be awarded a number of Vials of Lifewater. Alchemists may use this precious ingredient to create a special potion, the Water of Life.
Water of Life must be used from the inventory on a sterile animal in your inventory. That sterile animal will be made permanently breedable with +2 maximum breeding charges. You’ll still need to use a Revitabite Biscuit to “recharge” those charges.
The following animals refuse to drink this potion:
Snow Pets, Plantanimals, Mechanical Pets, Daily Wheel Exclusive Pets, Abada, Dark Drax, Elemental Drax, Rubble Runts, Ant Farm, 'Yote, Bard Kitsune, Mystic Kitsune, Spooky Kitsune, Festive Kitsune, Cloud Kitsune, Were-Kitsune, Sweeticorn, Feathered Serpent, Blazing Phoenix, Lesser Orchidcat, Dandy Lion Chaser, Rainbow Swan, Sandimals, Cauldron Familiars, Racoonling, and Battle Moos.
Water of Life Recipe, Useful Flask, and Revitabite Biscuits are permanently available in The Cottage Shoppe.
The ability to donate Snow Pets will last through January 11th. We have also increased the amount of Vials of Lifewater that drop from each donation.
Northernmost Rim
Fight in this festival specific battleground to earn yearly exclusive items, and a lot of food! You may even encounter a fairy, as well as other holiday treats and treasures.

Hi everyone! We wanted to give an update for the upcoming Tigereye Peak Snow Festival, as well as provide an announcement concerning scheduled downtime.
Snow Festival Incoming!
We plan on beginning this year's festivities sometime tomorrow evening, Thursday, December 18th, and will be running the event through Sunday, January 4th.
January 1st Downtime
Furvilla will be entering a scheduled downtime on January 1st, 2026 at midnight Furvilla Time. This downtime will allow for us to remove paid site features and ads, as well as do other general preparation tasks for our transition to free-to-play Furvilla.
We do not anticipate this downtime to last longer than a day, however, we will preserve your log-in streaks for that day, so do not worry if you are unable to log in when we come back online on the 1st. Please understand that it is our New Year holiday as well, and we will do our best to get the site up and running again as quickly as possible. Thank you!

This is a reminder that Furvilla does NOT allow any form of generative AI usage whatsoever!
Furvilla prides itself in its creativity and handcrafted original artworks. We do not tolerate generative AI of any kind as we see this as a form of plagiarism and art theft, and we do not want to give users the impression that we tolerate it by having it on our website in any way!
It's prohibited to use/post generative AI for;
-Painties
-Vistas
-Art contest entries
-Fur Idol entries
-Art sales
-Character sales
-Posting it and claiming it as your own created artwork
-Gift art for other users
-"Character art" in roleplays
-"Character art" in villager profile bios
-Profile CSS and descriptions
-Any other place on the website that allows for artwork to be uploaded
Kindly respect that Furvilla is NOT the place for generative AI content. Do not make the jobs of our volunteer staff any harder than it needs to be as we want to trust our community and not scrutinize every piece of artwork that gets uploaded to our website.
24 hours after this news post is posted, we will start to permanently ban users who are caught using generative AI and posting it to our website in any way.
