Legendary Equipment is basically the equipment on the higher end of the "damage meta", in the sense that the abilities or stats they provide your warrior are much greater than that of craftable or event equipment! As such, these equips typically need to be banned from Standard PVP since they give an unfair advantage. If you have ever been one-shot in Free-for-All PVP, it was likely from a user that has a (or even several) legendary equipment pieces.
I know of a couple, like the Chubby Bunny (in the cottage shop for 500 Buckeye leaves), the Unicorn Lance (craftable), and Armour of the Divine Kitsune (craftable). LanceDoggo could probably tell you more when he gets a chance, as warrior is his bread-and-butter :3c
