    • i'm totally with you on the text being artistic on it's own! feels like my brain is programmed to find non latin-script alphabets just inherently more visually pleasant? maybe because my brain isn't focused on parsing meaning from the text it's able to enjoy just the aesthetics of it?

      my boyfriend and i started collecting purely outta nostalgia and to just collect the pretty full art cards and stuff! i'm at the point where i have favourite card artists and i want to start dedicating pages in my binder to my favourite artists! i'm in love with the Asako Ito cards in particular!

    • i hadn't thought about getting the japanese cards instead!!! my ocd would be too irked for me to put them in the same binder as my english cards but i could definitely still scratch that pokemon card itch with the japanese ones if i get them their own binder! thank u so much for putting the idea in my head! :D
