Tools for shaving faux fur?

14 Jun 2019, 1:32 pm
So, I normally use grooming scissors to trim faux fur, but (as I've discovered) that can often result in uneven patches of shorter/longer fur (plus it's tiring on the hands if you have a lot of fur to trim). I'd love to find an electric razor to shave fur instead, but I'm not sure what kind of shaver to invest in. (I know it should have blade guards, but I really don't know much else about electric shavers). Would a regular beard trimmer work? Or would it be worth it to save up for something a little more high-end, like professional dog grooming shears?

Any advice/recommendations would be great! Thanks in advance. :)

I suggest a pet shaver, you can get some pretty good ones for cheap on amazon. They make it looks cleaner and are easier to use. That’s what I used for my suit.

Remingtons are for humans but they are a good pair and go for relatively cheap (about $20) I got mine at CVS
