Smoothed Chibi Bases

✨THESE ARE ENTIRELY FREE TO USE!✨
Hey gang. There's been some talk around the watering hole that some of the chibi linework is a little rough and hard to work with in terms of making painties. So I took them into Illustrator and image-traced them. I didn't have the time to go in and refine them, so they might have a few stray points/bugs, but for the most part they should be much easier to work with now.
you can use these however you like! i just made these to save people some time, you are welcome to use them for sales!
REMEMBER TO SAVE AS .PNG! COPYING AND PASTING WILL GIVE YOU A BLACK SQUARE!
SNOW FESTIVAL 2018
you are a saint.
does anyone know how i could inquire to get a post pinned? even if its just until the bases get cleaned, i want this database to be easy for everyone to find!
I'd be happy to pin the topic for you but before I do so, are you sure they will be usable for everyone? I have tried opening a couple of them in my PS and they are locked and unusable for me personally (entirely possible it's just something I am doing wrong lol so that is why I am asking).
Admin-Mat they're just normal pngs, so im not sure whats happening for you! D: did you save them before opening them? i have to save them before bringing them in a program or else it just pastes with a black background (and when your using black linework, itll just give you a black square!) and i'd love for the post to be pinned so its easy for everyone to find!
Literal savior :'O
Goku-san Ah thank you, that allowed me to use color! But how do I color within the lines? If I set it to multiply or overlay it either doesn't show up or it paints the colors across the lines, making them redundant.
I usually color under the line art in this case with no layer settings.
You're an angel, thankyou!
Hallur! Are these line arts usable for sellable adoptables and customs?
( Your Icon is De Wae) Thank you for doing this! I'm gonna use them for painties, or just practicing bases.
Oh, well thanks anyway.
Oh thank you so much! This will make things SO much easier
Yes now I can make a Hyena paintie for Louis!
