he is a Nex a race of people who are fairly magic inclined and usually heavily interested in the research of magic and time. Jumon from a young age was talented at magic research but was often criticized for what seemed to them to be outlandish research ideas. He managed to quickly rise through the ranks anyways and became a decently respected researcher at a facility that had a decent reputation despite the constant criticism. Since the facility was less regulated due to not being as in the spotlight as other facilities he managed to get one of his more outlandish research project ideas accepted. During the experimentation phase of the project one of his co workers went against his warnings for how the experiment should be handled and there was a major accident. Since he was in charge of the project he was blamed for the incident and immediately banished.
During his time wandering the great Aresan desert since his banishment, the leader of a desert gang Fulvian (known as tempest or fulv) let him into his group and kindly helped him recover. To thank him he became their resident mage. With Fulvs consent he also decided to try and finish the experiment he had started before. With what he could scavenge and put together himself eventually he was able to complete the research and made a major breakthrough. His research paper got world renown acclaim and landed him a position as head master for a magic college. He still continues to be a member of fulvs gang and lends his financial support, wisdom, and magic skills when he needs it anytime.
As head master of the grand magic college at Cress he has also accepted a position as teacher for the accelerated learning program for the school. The class size is usually generally small since the program is a lot more advanced and comprehensive than their normal program. Two students who have been part of his class are a snow princess and a young mage named Shin. There was also a talented young sorceress name Mist that the snow princess had some bad history with. It made the classroom a little less boring!
