A series of distressed clicks catches your attention.
As you investigate the unusual sounds, you come across a deep river. You quickly realize that the strange noises originate from a small pod of agitated beluga whales swimming in a sector of the river.
When you get in the water to get a closer look, you notice a smaller, darker whale tangled in what appears to be fishing nets. The other members of the pod seem to want to help the young calf, but can't get close enough due to the fear of getting tangled up too. Feeling sympathy for the pod, you decide to get closer and start cutting the nets.
As the young beluga finally reaches the surface to breathe, the pod lets out excited clicks, quickly surrounding the calf.
Feeling like a better person, you start towards the shore. Just as your feet manage to touch the bottom of the shallower waters, you look back, noticing a pearly beluga following you.
As it realizes that you've seen it, it giggles and playfully spits a jet of water in your face.
When you open your eyes again, the pearly beluga is nowhere to be seen and the pod starts to head out to sea.
Floating just next to you is a bag of medicine.
What an unusual day.
