Atlas comes off as confident, gruff, overly competitive, arrogant, lazy, and wild. His humor tends to be dry, and at someone else's expense, and often only has himself laughing. He also is somewhat blatant in his dislike toward really anything that isn't Wickerbeast. Due to this brash nature, others leave it at that, not that he cares. He is skeptical, almost to the degree that he doesn't even want companionship. He believes that everyone is like him in some way, even if they hide it behind false walls of sympathy, and thus people are not to be trusted.

His wild card behaviour and selfish interests lead in to why he prefers a more solitary life; either fending off monsters or building houses that he may destroy in the end. That is not to say he hates friendship or company, just that he prefers to be away from the general mass. The few friend's Atlas is able to make are generally something he dubs as family. He would never outwardly show it, but those who understand him and accept him are defended and protected by him; almost to the point of 'at any cost'. He hides his protective nature under a sheet of playfulness and teasing; general gruffness. Anyone pestered by him tends to be someone he likes, even though it may seem backwards.

It's a foreign sight anyway, as he tends to make many more enemies than friends; especially with his somewhat arrogant nature.
