I agree with that! That's a good way to look at things and I think that's something even I should keep in mind more often. Ahaha. That's true, strangely I see a lot more of the older users being really vocal about things, maybe as much or more so than the younger ones. I wonder if it's just the way the community was advertised.

I agree as well. Sometimes people get involved in things that may not even be directed at them personally and get pretty extreme about it. Kinda why I avoid certain areas of Tumblr as well, but it's a bit difficult to when its all front and center in a area everyone can access with ease. I'm gonna start sticking to my initial plan of ignoring what drama comes down the line and enjoy the more lighthearted posts and what the more chill users have to say.

Crimson I find that it may just be easier in the long run to avoid the forums at times. Most of the conversations I see are more of a perpetuation of one person being upset over something else someone said in jest and taking it a bit too seriously to be healthy. I usually ask myself if something won't really matter a week from now in my own life, why worry about it? I understand that others have a hard time letting go, but I also think it does have to do with the age group here as well, cause I know as a teen I could be pretty caught up in the small things.

And yeah people have been pretty terrible on here. I think it's the age group. I'm not old by a longshot. I'm only mid 20s, but my gosh I feel lightyears away at times, especially when half the people I see here are 16 or less.. I've never understood how people can actually enjoy talking to eachother like that or acting the way they are acting. It's just mean. It's like they enjoy being offended. Blargh >:V

I think that's perfectly understandable! I actually felt the same way until probably today when I realized I'm unsure if I'm going to stick with site. After that I didn't know if I really cared whether or not people found me to be one way or another. Granted I do think it's silly to have to worry about it in the first place!

Crimson it is very difficult for me to voice opinions like that, mostly because I feel that everyone else is on constant eggshells, so its easier to remain quiet and think: How silly is all this really?
