this site is more trouble than it's worth, and I have left.

I have come to realize that this site is not going to improve, and it isn't worth the stress it has caused to myself and those I love anymore. I am keeping anything sentimental. everything in my collections was a gift from my partner and my best friend, so do not ask for anything on my account - I will not be here to answer PMs, anyway.
everything else has been dumped at the giving tree or given to users I thought were kind.
I have been on this site since I was a little kid, and I am now in my 20s. it hasn't changed whatsoever in the 2-3ish years I was away from it. while I will miss the good, this site holds a lot of bad, too. enough that I cannot justify staying on it anymore.
I will thank it for helping me find who I am, if nothing else. I was a very sheltered child, and I don't think I would have ever realized I was LGBT if furvilla hadn't taught me those terms.
maybe one day, the owners will pick it back up, or sell it off, or close it down. whatever happens first, probably the last one, let's be honest.
