About

Quetzalcoatl
The Spanish Angel dragon

Not to be confused with Dutch angel dragons

5DrvVQE.png

Originally known as the Feathered Serpents by the Aztecs, these regal beasts were once abundant on Mexican soil. They protected many of the Pyramids, most notably the Serpents Pyramid.

Believed to be descended from the great Quetzalcoatl himself, they were worshiped by the people they protected. However, the day that the Spaniards came they killed most of the adult dragons and took all of the babies they could find, claiming the whole species as their own.

It took centuries for the few remaining dragons to grow in numbers enough to rise and return their brethren to their homeland.

SPECIES SPECIFICATIONS

Spanish Angel dragons can be any color. They are usually bright colors like the birds and snakes that live in their homeland.

Males and Females share the curved horns and sun-like crest of feathers around their heads.

Their bodies are covered in soft feathers save for their bellies and lower jaws.

They have large feathered wings.

Females are bigger and more dangerous than Males.

ONLY FEMALES have a stinger on the end of their tails.

Both genders have a rattle at the end of their tail.

ACESSORIES

Males and females sport gold chains on them somewhere.

Females however are the only ones who have Jade Stones on these gold chains.

FUR PATTERN

Usually 4-5 colors are seen on these beasts.

Rainbow Dragons are few and far between.

Spanish angel dragons were created by myself JBCBlank and Cavix. They are not Dutch angel dragons.
