Naoki is mute, and therefore cannot speak, and is an excellent writer. He communicates through writing when he can, but knows sign language and can lip sync when he needs. If he is watching you, he can read lips as well.
This tapir is a rather shy fellow, but bold and brave in that he tries. He's rather sensitive as well, emotional, and his friendship is a delicate balancing act to keep, as once you break his trust it is very unlikely it will ever be restored.
