About
Luciela was born under strange circumstances, at least that is what her parents told her when she was young. The story goes that both she and her twin brother were stillborn, yet were able to be saved fortunately. The reality however, was a bit more complicated.
The Twins only survived due to a deal with Death their mother made. The price was a soul, or rather half of it... each family member paid the price and from that point onwards the twins were forever linked both in body and mind.
While there were no issues for the children as they were able to adapt as they grew up, the parents died when both Luciela and her brother Lucek were eight years old, as they could not sustain themselves on half a soul infinitely..
Despite the many burdens they shared in life, Luciela and her brother grew up healthily. Lucek showed affinity for working with animals and that was the career he pursued, while the girl became a herbalist, growing plants so that the village would have an ample supply.
As they shared a body, no one ever saw them together in one place, not did they ever change places in public, this was a secret they had kept since they were born and would keep till they died.... again.

Luciela knew her brother wanted to take the burden of them separating, yet she also knew just how dangerous it was. After all not only would their souls be separated and the missing part replaced, but also the one being severed and removed from the body would had a new one grown in some process she did not understand.
Still Luciela did not want Lucek to be the one to take the risk. She cared about him too much. Sadly what she wanted or the reasons why, were not something her brother would take into account. She knew he loved her just too much.
On the day when the ritual was supposed to take place, she woke up not in her home, but at Tsurugi's place. For some reason Selmeria was there as well....
Luciela understood what it meant swiftly, after all she felt her brother... gone, the connection was still there somewhat, yet at the same time it was different than usual, she felt her brother, but his presence was gone. He did not share her body anymore.
Panicking she ran out, running into the woods in only a direction she knew off, Following the trail towards her brother. It took over an hour but she came to a clearing where Lucek's presence was the strongest. She saw a really big ball of fluffy fur next to a tree, it was as big as a person.
She took a step towards it, but was stopped. It was Selmeria, she held Luciela's arm preventing her from going closer. The girl was about to shake Selmeria's hand off, when the ball moved.
In ave, they saw a creature line no other before. It seemed powerful, but also strangely fragile in the girl's eyes. She moved closer as it inspected its own body, the figure strangely familiar... Luciela heard a branch break under her feet, her advance stopped and her face paled.
Once the creature turned around she was certain though. It was her brother. Not thinking much she tackled him, tightly embracing the big oaf her brother became. She was saying something while crying, she herself did not hear her own words, but when he embraced her, she was just happy he was all right.
Soon after they returned to the village, where all sorts of trouble resulted with Lucek's change in appearance. Though Luciela changed as well, even if it was gradual and not noticeable at first....
