Grouchy, autistic, and nonverbal mechanic. At least, the crew thinks of her as a mechanic, though it's more of a hodgepodge of skills that keeps their home running.
Much of her grouchiness is borne from being looked down on for her speech, being capable of only onomatopoeia-based echolalia (often mimicking the sounds of her tools). If it's not being looked down on, it's struggling to be understood. Consequently, she dreads meeting new people.
Related to that problem, she practically has to be at death's door before she'd make herself visit the crew's medic, Clemons. Or any medical professional for that matter.
Most of her conversations is through email, though her dislike of people causes her to be stingy about who she bothers to text.
