"The Great Gonzáles" was trained in the art of the smithy ever since his paws could hold a forging hammer. First impressions may be offputting; he acts far more like a big cat than his true smaller species, though it's strictly tied to his business. Close friends, family, and associates that have been working with him for longer than a handful of years learn that the gruff exterior hides a playful, sarcastic personality beneath the brimstone and smoke. Recently, he has found an apprentice in a calico girl only slightly younger than himself. The two have grown to view each other as siblings, and Horatio continues trying to raise funds in order to move her from her current dwelling to his own home at Tigereye Peak.
