Despite his bulk and blindness, Mardel is the parttime alchemist (and parttime herbalist, and sometimes warrior) of the group. A few furs speculate he's capable of delicate, precision tasks in the lab and greenhouse since he was formerly a lion. No one knows for sure though, but at the least he's very talented at his work!
