A California Mouse that got stuck in a trashcan IRL. I turned her into a Furvilla villager because I really needed a doctor and I couldn't think of any doctor-y ocs.
Once upon a time, a mouse fell into one of our outdoor trashcans (it had this weird trapdoor-type lid on it). We were moving and getting rid of stuff, and my dad decided that we should clean these trashcans to see if we could sell them.
So I, being the only other person (besides my dad) who was home at the time, was tasked with cleaning these really gross trashcans. It was completely empty except for some tarp scraps at the bottom, we think she just slipped off the deck railing it was next to. But anyways there was a mouse in there, and we had to do something about her. So while dad and I debated her fate, I tossed her a breadstick because I was throwing them away and she's probably hungry right? I mean, why not.
So eventually my aunt shows up to help us with the garage sale and tells my dad to just let her out. And I, being the Expert On Everything Related To Animals according to my family, got the job of releasing her.
Cue me walking down a frickton of stairs holding a very large trashcan with a massive panicked mouse in it.
Breadstick got to go free under our deck, in the gigantic mass of ivy, tiny orange trees, and ferns that grows under there. I tossed the rest of her breadstick in there for good measure.
Tl;dr: a wild mouse had a very lucky escape from a deathtrap trashcan and I named her/it Breadstick.
I feel like I should give her some personality, so here we go:
- When with customers, she is a very sweet creature. With her fellow villagers, though, she can get pretty sarcastic. But then again, considering the injuries and illnesses they get and how often they get them...
- Has a dry sense of humor.
- Is a very skilled doctor. She dreams of being able to heal even the most deadly diseases, even though she knows that it's impossible.
- Breadstick makes really good bread. She felt like it was a requirement since she was named breadstick.
-Is into vulture culture. She has a small collection of antlers and bones she found in the woods.
- Fairly intelligent, she tries to keep her arrogance and pride in check. She has her moments, though.
- Enjoys the company of Andromeda. They discuss their favorite books and the latest gossip.
