I painted it on a bigger canvas first, then resized. the quality sadly does drop a bit, but I find that very slightly upping the contrast and maybe sharpening the picture a teeny tiny bit restores it a little. I'm sorry you're having trouble with resizing and quality - been there, it sucks!
