Clouds of smoke billowed from the open window of a house along the side of the road, strange odors wafting from the place in spades. The door slammed open, and a skittish velociraptor bolted outside, seeming panicked. They came skidding to a stop a safe distance from the outside, and waited pensively. The clouds of smoke slowly dissipated without any other effect, and Wyvern hummed with disappointment. The newbie Alchemist had been attempting some of those fancy species changing potions for a while now and, so far, had very little success. Oh well, they would not be dissuaded. They trotted back towards their home, offering you a friendly greeting chirp as they passed. The door clicked closed, and you continued on your way.

Wyvern is a pleasant creature, though they tend towards the nervous side. They've had a great interest in the occult and the spiritual since they were little, and strive to excel in alchemism as a result. Their old birth clan banished them for their strange and dangerous interests, cutting off a finger and sending them off to find a new place to live. They thought it quite a miracle that they had found and been accepted into this new village. That, and their interest in alchemy was not only tolerated, but sought after! Now all that's left is to become good at it...
