While tsurugi might not be the friendliest person, as he is usually grumpy and prefers to keep to himself, he will do a lot for those he cares about, both close friends and family. Those who get past his usual grumpy self will find he is full of warmth and caring.
The reason he came to the village was due to a request from one of his oldest friends - Slemeria. While he had no idea what he would be getting into, he still felt that finding residence there might be a good thing. Both due to his work as an alchemist and due to his friend.
The reason why he was called was simple yet complicated. It had to do with the curse placed on the twins Lucek and Luciela. Their guardian, and his friend, asked of him to find a way to separate the siblings. This would not be easy as he needed to find a way to not only separate their bodies, but also strengthen their souls.
While he knew of a way he was not sure if one of the sibling would be willing to sacrifice themselves for the other and take the risk of becoming something else entirely.... a being strengthened by magic, yet at the same time different than anything else....
