Though he doesn't look like it, Memo, ever since he was young, has always loved the whole concept of being a blacksmith. Though he admits he's not very good at it, he's still trying to be the best blacksmith there is out there!
It's hard though when the other villagers are really good at their jobs and then there's him... He can't even lift a hammer up without straining. The blacksmiths in the animes made it look so easy! Why can't it be that easy for him then?
Memo would much rather be obsessing over his anime shows than being a blacksmith though. In fact, anime was what inspired him to be a blacksmith in the first place! Especially Lizbeth from Sword Art Online! Oh yes, ESPECIALLY her... Memo kinda has this humongous crush on her and wants to be just as great as a blacksmith as she was. Keep on trying, Memo!
He is also a very hyperactive talker (specifically about anime and Lizbeth and blacksmithing). He talks so fast with such a high pitched voice (for a guy at least) that almost NOBODY understands him! He honestly sounds like a sped up recording most of the time.
Memo hates it when his name gets mispronounced. It's pronounced MEMMO, not MEEMO! They always think it's MEEMO because of that stupid lost fish in Finding Nemo. Just because he LOOKS like a clownfish doesn't mean he IS one! Sheesh! Some people!
Personality-wise, he can change moods really, REALLY quickly. One moment he's happy, the next moment, he's in tears. Aidyn diagnosed him with bipolar disorder and that itself explains EVERYTHING. Because of his disorder, he prefers not to talk to other people because he's afraid he'll just piss them off with his constant roller-coaster of moods. That's quite alright though because he has an imaginary friend which he named after Lizbeth. But to be a little more unique, he calls her Lizbeth-Chan. He has this whole fantasy about Lizbeth having a secret little twin sister with the same name as her. In fact, there's even a whole fanfiction about it he wrote himself! Lizbeth-Chan talks to him every night about whatever he wants to talk about. He's so glad to have a friend like Lizbeth-Chan.
If you thought he was already TOO obsessed with Lizbeth, then this is going one step further into the madness. He has multiple posters of her hanging in his room and dozens of fan comics of her too! He even has several printed out novel commissions of "Memo x Lizbeth" by many of his favorite authors! His favorite part of all of them are the kiss scenes. Oh, him and Lizbeth would make such a CUTE couple (in his own opinion).
Clothing-wise, he frequently cosplays as Kirito from Sword Art Online (because he also ships Kirito x Lizbeth). The costume came from Beau/Belle who he LOVES talking to because they both love shipping things! Beau/Belle shares his real-life ships while Memo shares his anime ships! They're pretty much best friends when you look at it that way. He even introduced Sword Art Online to Beau/Belle and the snake's already got a HUGE shipping chart mapped out of all the characters!
Memo has an older sister named Ringo who's a wanted outlaw by the police. The two of them used to spend so much time together when they were younger until Ringo spent less and less time around him and ran off to Dragon's Maw Manor and Memo hasn't seen her since. He really misses her though and wonders if she feels the same about him.
His Pink Pearl is named Punch (after his favorite drink). Punch is mute and just kinda sits around idly and listens to Memo's non-stop rambling. But he enjoys it! At least Memo thinks he does. He always sees Punch smiling at him when he talks. But mayyyyybe Punch is just trying to be nice.
