Fenn's a former blacksmith dragon, but turned Wickerbeast when Mardel asked if he could test a potion from another village on him. Fenn's already hot-headed attitude seems to be set off much more easily as a Wickerbeast. At least he has the decency to clobber monsters rather than fellow furs whenever he feels ready to lash out.
