About
She / Them
* Please let me know if there are inconsistencies or if I have caused inadvertent offense. I, the creator of this Fursona, am not at all familiar with eastern religion, culture or philosophy. *
Ravi is Indian, having been born to kind parents living in Nepal's northern territory amongst the Himalayas. She was raised in Nepal, but was equally immersed in both Nepali and Indian culture.
She lived speaking both Hindi and Sanskrit, but is now also fluent in Spanish, English, and Mandarin.
Her parents were kind, loving people and while they were always on the lower end of the Quality of Life scale, they never allowed little Ravi to want for anything. They taught her the beauty of life, love and friendship.
Ravi is named after her Sun God Surya, and is a very spiritual person. Her family practices the Smarta tradition of Hinduism. She loves her cultural background and loves dressing in colorful fabrics of her culture's typical fashion.
Discovering her fluidity of gender expression was typical for most beings her age. She discovered the perceived notions of gender and other being's thoughts on them, agreeing that a lot of modern ideas really were pretty silly. She easily unlearnt stereotypes, though she still likes to wear traditionally "feminine" clothing and accessories.
Ravi is 27 years old and has been diagnosed with Early-Onset Parkinson's Disease. Though not perfect, she tries her best not to let this hinder her. Due to this, typically Ravi can be seen:
-With quivering arms. Both hands tremor equally.
-Pausing in speech, stuttering
-More TBA as I research.
