This one is actually quite proud of his work as a doctor. Someday he'd like to dabble in alchemy too, since he has a knack for mixing, but Donovan wants to perfect his craft in his current career before pushing into another. Honestly, he just likes being really good at something. It gives him bragging rites, Though he's friendly, he's brutally honest and proud, which tends to either grant him a greater base of rivals or a slimmer pool of friends. Those that realize he's just an egomaniac with a heart of gold might come to love him, but oftentimes his attitude makes someone like Claus seem like a more attractive friend to have, despite the creep factor about him.
Donovan's a good guy though. He is known to be very charitable with his work, and he sticks up for the little guy when nobody else will. He gets along fine with the others, though he gets into occasional disagreements with Claus. He gets along swimmingly with Oliver and Purnip finds his company entertaining. Evette is his twin sister, born from the same clutch. While he has a more swan-like touch to him, she has more of a peacock's array of colors. The two are inseparable. Nobody dotes on their siblings quite as hard as Donovan does on his.
