Villager: Septre

Septre was summoned from the Void to serve Cerridwen. Known as the Silent Death, her purpose is to usher the very old, the very young, and the very ill into the afterlife. To be kissed by Septre is to slip peacefully and painlessly from this life and to find joy and welcome in what lies beyond. She takes many forms, though seems most comfortable in the shape of a winged cat.

Septre understands little about the living, but she is a young being as these things go and is infinitely curious. She collects other people's memories the same way some would collect stamps or coins. Often those she brings into the afterlife gift her with their own memories as thanks.

She seems very sweet and gentle, soft spoken and eager. And for the most part she is. But like all of Cerridwen's creatures, Septre has a vast amount of power and she does not fully understand it yet, which renders her dangerous when she is not being monitored. It's fortunate that so far she has proven to be slow to anger.
