About
Growing up in a clutch of hundred of whelps was stifling. Their days of youth were taken up with playing different dragon heroes they learned about. That was all they learned. The endless lectures on long gone dragon's great deeds, battles fought, and treasures plundered. Ugin was named after one of the great dragons of legend. He was not sure what they were known for because honestly there are so many great dragons it is exhausting. Hell, they were all named after some legendary dragon. There were more Ancalagons, Smaugs, and Alduins than he could ever hope to keep straight.
There were only a few drakes left in the high mountain roost when the call to migrate came to them. Death had claimed almost all, disease and fighting killing the most. Ugin was not social like the others. Their playing fighting and strong bonds put them at a greater advantage of surviving. He was pushed to the fringes of the group. They grew larger, bulkier into a proper ice dragon size. Ugin's body became thinner and translucent. It was during Ugin's fledgling years he found his passion for flying. While most ice dragons stick to the ground and only fly for short distances, Ugin feet rarely touched the ground after he took flight. The endless winter land of his youth was soon long behind him. The safety of the skies in isolated tundra was thing only thing he missed.
