Maxilla's clumsiness led them to try and take up the career of making potions, a needle and thread proved to be too pointy and ouchy. Despite their doubts they've succeeded at mastering the goopy black mystery potion! Making something actually useful on the otherhand, we can turn to page 2 and see the dead plants of a failed crop due to the test of Maxilla's self proclaimed super awesome potion of growy plantness, which wasn't super or awesome and made Sharptooth pretty angry. Page 3 reveals Maxilla's greatest wonderst magical potion of wickerbeasts, which is a pot full of all the wrong ingredients and another scratch off the list. But on page 4 Maxilla proudly shows off their goopy black mystery potions that villagers seem to like lots, and it magically transforms them into things they never thought they could be! Maxilla's just a big goof, that's all, :3c
