Takenoko still lives in the house he grew out of his own bamboo. Over time his Bamboo has whispered to him, helping him find more scrolls. His fur is now dappled like the light on the forest floor. His wings have dark bars like the bamboo stalks, and as many shades of green as the leaves. Short spikes, like bamboo shoots breaking the ground, emerge from his thick fur. More and more he looks like the beautiful plants that made him what he is today.
Bamboo is very beautiful.
