About
Chalk is a friendly, easygoing manokit with a loose tongue and an open mind. He takes comfort in manual labor, as it lets him slip into his own thoughts for however long she works for—though she doesn't think of much. She has a penchant for the simple pleasures of life, and a massive appetite to match; she has a bad habit of spending extra money on whatever food catches her fancy. Despite being a relatively mellow person, he is equally impulsive. In addition to splurging on food, she doesn't think much about what he says, and as a result is bad at keeping secrets.
She doesn't put a spectacular amount of effort into anything and is content with whatever he can do much of the time. Even when others are upset with him, he never musters much vigor against it. Some friendships of hers have ended because of his failure to care about issues.
On a positive note, her apathy lends him patience, and he is not easily roped into arguments. This patience is particularly useful around children—he makes a good babysitter, given his immunity to their tantrums. Babies are a different story; he doesn't pay enough attention to care for them properly. She knows this and, accordingly, does not ever plan to have children.
She naps almost every day, usually in the first place she finds, whether fitting or not.
