Vocaren takes immense pride in her work as a blacksmith, and considers herself an artist. Her best (and worst) customer happens to be Ashes, a boisterous and confident warrior who constantly wrecks Vocaren's weapons on monsters around the Oceandome. While Vocaren can appreciate the importance of warriors and slaying monsters, she definitely doesn't appreciate how reckless Ashes is with her weaponry and armor. The two have an almost official schedule, where Ashes drops off today's gear and picks up tomorrow's freshly repaired versions.
Of course, Ashes jokes that the blacksmith is actually worried about her, not just her gear, but Vocaren vehemently denies any such feelings. As if!
