Rye's life is kind of a mess
He survives off a diet of sugar, caffeine and grease in some drafty rat hole of an apartment, and subsequently feels like crap all the time as a result of his glamorous lifestyle.
Mornings are spent groggy and incapable of coherent speech, and the rest of the day is spent too out of it to really absorb what's going on, or too detached to actually care.
He doesn't say much, but when he does it's crass and riddled with an unnecessary amount of curse words, but his voice is so baritone and chill it hardly seems out of place.
Despite his lot in life, Rye is a very content individual who wouldn't ask for more if he could. There's a roof over his head and a coffee shop within walking distance, what more could he want anyway?
