That is the mane reason he is an explorer for his clan, the other one is his sad family history. Cast out by his family because of his albinism he went here to this icy, frozen desert to somehow blend in and fade away.
Instead he found people to befriend, to like, to love; people who saw him not only noteworthy but likable and remarkably too and who made him their family, their clan.
