The sun has just set and you have to admit you are well and truly lost. Best to find a place to hide and try to find your way home tomorrow.
Suddenly you hear a roar and a giant slavering creature, vaguely wolf-shaped except for its two massive ugly heads and lack of fur, springs at you. It's teeth are like knives and that's all you can focus on. Your life flashes before your eyes.
In front of you a huge, furry figure materializes, blocking the the ugly monster. With a swipe of its glinting oversized claws it dispatches the monster messily. Your shaggy savior turns to you and regards you with glimmering green eyes. It has gleaming horns, and its fur is the color of shadows, blending perfectly into the dark woods.
It grins, a terrifying smile. You wonder if this is a hero or yet another monster.
