Name: Malcolm ‘Mal’

Personality: Few people are as down to earth as Mal. He stands as a beacon of stability and reason to all around him. He has earned himself a reputation for being a fatherly figure. He does his best to be kind and supportive to all in need though he has a tendency to try and fill a parental role with younger villagers.
He is laid back at home but out and about he becomes a bit of a worry wart and is always trying to prepare for the unexpected.
History: Mal once lived on his family’s ranch closer to Foxbury. A series of unfortunate events led to the eventually end of the ranch. Looking for a new start, Mal took off in search of a new place to put down roots. He picked up a companion, Clock, in his search. Together they scouted out a promising location for a town in not so promising surroundings. Mal was key in seeing the budding township through the first rocky year in the untamed Dragonsmaw territory and without him there would have been no chance of success.
At home he had been more involved in animal husbandry and carpentry but in the face of so many dangers he took up a sword. His career as a warrior was short lived after he was seriously injured in a battle. Thankfully a new villager was able to take up his mantel. Unwilling to sit idle he aided the town’s doctor in cultivating plants for his medicine. He found gardening to be relaxing and now spends his time in town going between his garden and his workshop. He has no intentions to returning to battle any time soon. Unless it’s a battle against weeds and squeaky doors.
He is effectively town mayor and he greets newcomers first.
