A squeamishness around blood and a distaste for any major injuries probably doesn't make for the best doctor, but Ophelie's endless curiosity is well sated by the research and learning that goes into the profession. She still has yet to treat any truly grievous injuries (the worst being resetting a bone or two from a fall), and she's in no rush to find out how she'd handle such a situation. It'd be little help to the patient if she fainted in the middle of treating them, after all.

Her outwardly polite demeanor can sometimes fool those who don't know her well into believing that she is reserved and even shy, but they would be sorely mistaken. With friends she is constantly excited (and constantly knocking important herbs over with her tail) and prone to making off-color and cheesy jokes. All sense of decorum fades away in the face of a fun time.

While she tries very hard to be taken seriously and seen as someone experienced already in her profession, at heart she is often terrified of messing up and still has much to learn.

At times she has a way of blithely ignoring the feelings of others, and whether this is intentional or not it's quite beside the point. It comes across as a selfish streak and disregard, and her good opinion, once lost, is very hard to get back into.
