Frait has read up on different fields of magic and science, and uses what he's learned to make his life as simple as possible. It can get a little hectic - with all the work that goes into researching & developing new tools and spells, but if it makes his day go a little smoother it's worth it. But he isn't completely "all work and no play," Frait loves lounging and taking it easy as much as the next person.
