About
Agria was a simple adventurer. She did work for coin. Mostly rather boring work, like rescuing children from the woods.
She was supposed to assassinate the feared werewolf queen, Azaras Lupai, and thereby disband her army of entranced beasts. Alas, Agria failed in that mission.
Instead, she brought back the queen's daughter, who wanted a life of adventure, and was willingly stolen away from the castle. Not only did Agria fail in her mission (and thus not receive the hefty reward on Azaras' head), but she very nearly lost her life as a result.
For the werewolf kingdom stopped at nothing in order to retrieve their lost princess.
In the dead of night, they descended upon the village where Agria and Azaras were staying, and the two lost sight of each other in the chaos.
Agria spent years not knowing whether the princess managed to escape, and the question burned in her mind as she took salves and potions to delay the onset of lycanthropy.
Then, she found Azaras again, in a land far away from any threat of monstrous beasts. She was happy, and safe, and had found herself a warm and loving family. Agria herself had fallen on hard times, and needed a place to stay.
Azaras' new family welcomed her with open arms.
