-Species Info: When Oracles reach a certain age, they are taken to The Cave of Deus -- a very sacred place -- to find their orb. It may take days, even weeks, but when they finally find it, they are able to gaze into its depths and predict the future. Some Oracles only use their orb for personal gain, while others try and help those in need. However, the farther into the future they look, the more of a toll it will take on their mind and body. There have been accounts of Oracles who stare, mystified, into their orbs for their whole lives, only to eventually wither away.
-Character Bio: Tomo is a rather brash Oracle. He'll always tell you what he thinks, even if it's not the nicest. He has good intentions, but doesn't always go about things in the best way. Once you get to know Tomo, however, you'll have a friend for life. He is loyal and cares a lot, even if he's not the greatest at showing it.
(Fun Fact Number 1! Oracles do not have any sexually dimorphous characteristics. After going on their life-changing journey to The Cave of Deus, they choose what they'd like to identify as.)
(Fun Fact Number 2! When not holding their orb in their hands, a common place for Oracles to keep it is in their tail.)
(Fun Fact Number 3! The long hat-looking thing on an Oracle's head is actually a part of them. The sphere on the end of the appendage gathers sunlight and converts it into usable engery through photosynthesis. Oracles also get an extra boost of protein and other nutrients from occasionally eating fish.)
(Fun Fact Number 4! Oracles can walk on both two feet and four, using their tails for balance.)
