Keiko is one of the few wanderers that comes from a wealthy background. The scion of an influential sorcerer lineage, she has loving but somewhat distant and distractible parents who perhaps did not judge whether their daughter was ready "strike out on her own" very well. Though her knowledge and magic are adequate in the classroom and the court, she does not have much real-world experience - especially not when it comes to traveling in the frozen wilderness.

What she lacks in experience, however, she tries to make up in heart. Keiko is one of the friendlier and more approachable wanderers. She thrives on company and friendly physical contact: a rabbit quick to lend a hug or a supportive hand-squeeze. She strives to be on good terms with everyone and doesn't handle rejection well.

Easily flustered and not always well-prepared, she is often seen with her fur rumpled and her circlet askew. But her robes and staff are prized possessions and she tends to them carefully, as she does to all things that are important to her.

Often seeks out Bhavya for company.
