"Hexicats are six-legged cat-like monsters. They're inorganic creatures made up of various types of energy. Which energy they're made of will effect their behaviors and overall appearance, as well as any abilities they might have.
While they only bear a small resemblance to cats at first glance, their name comes from the fact that they share many traits with them. The most notable being the high-pitched mews and chirps that they make. Their movements and some behaviors are also seen as very cat-like. They can right themselves when falling and are very high. They also display similar defensive tactics, such as folding back their ears, arching their backs, puffing out their fur, and hissing when they feel threatened. The one key cat-like feature missing is that they do not have retractable claws, and most don't have claws at all.
Hexicats get along fine with others of their species and may form colonies. They tend to hunt and forage alone though, like many cats, primarily due to the fact that their diets range wildly based on individual.
Due to their small size and cute appearance, they're sometimes kept as companions. While wild Hexicats have their own language and communicate through vocalization and body language, ones that live in urban areas may pick up on speech.
-Their necks tend to have a lot of fluff on them
-Their mouths usually have a hard w shape to them
-They always have 6 legs, unless they've lost a leg or two due to injury
-They usually have 3 toes on each foot, with no claws
Outside of that, they can have different types of ears, eyes, and tails, and can have wings, spines, fins, or whatever else." - copied pasted from the species creator, Xinimonster.
