Villager: Calex

Once there was a kitten called Calex who was far to curious for his own good. He liked to explore as much as possible and often got himself into all kinds of mischief must to the exhaustion of his wolf friend Odin.

Odin did a lot of work around the village as both a blacksmith and an alchemist and the kitten and him were best friends. The kitten constantly explored and brought Odin back all kinds of things he could use in his lab to make all kinds of interesting gadgets and potions.

One day Calex encountered fairies in the forest and after being educated that they were in fact not butterflies and he was not supposed to swat at them or chase them he managed to secure a bit of fairy dust after talking to them, something he was told was a really rare alchemy ingredient. When Calex got him that night he found that Odin was not in his lab as he had been working a late shift, unable to wait for the wolf due to excitement the kitten decided to try and brew a potion himself.

Several explosions later the lab was quite a mess, and the kitten found himself a bit disoriented. The room seemed to be getting larger and the kitten felt lighter on his feet, almost as if he didn't even need to touch his ground. After clearing his head he realized the room was getting bigger! Or more precisely the kitten was getting smaller! He shrunk in size all the way down to just a mere two inches in height! A quite tiny size more like a mouse than a kitten!

With the change in size though the kitten gained new features, butterfly wings and new patterns all over his fur. The kitten had become a fairy kitten! Now some others might have panicked, but Calex was ecstatic! He loved having the ability to fly, and being so small meant that his favorite sweets were now that much bigger!

Odin was surprised when he found the shrunken fairy kitten when he returned to the lab that evening, but with his friend so happy with his new form saw no reason to work on trying to reverse the change. So the two continued to live on with each other with Calex being Odin's fairy companion. The tiny kitten had adjusted to his small stature quite happily, often riding atop Odin's head or on his shoulder, and even taking naps in the wolf's shirt pocket when the kitten is feeling lazy.
