Blizzard was originally a white canine upon arrival, but that changed thanks to a bit of a mishap.
After moving into the village, Blizzard was told of some magic plush toys that could transform a villager's appearance. This made her curious, and she decided to peek at her neighbors' item collections to see if she could find one of these mysterious dolls. And to her delight, she found multiple.
But one in particular caught her eye: The Holiday Canine Plush.
As soon as she saw that scarf, that bell, and the beautiful icy blue markings, she knew she needed to try this magical plush to get the perfect look for herself.
But when Blizzard grabbed it, things took an unexpected turn.
The next thing she knew, she was wearing a Santa suit, and her snow-white fur was now covered in beige markings. Blizzard was devastated, and very upset that she fell for this "false-advertising", as she called it.
The other villagers tried to tell her that she looked just fine, but she wouldn't listen to any of it. What would the others think of her Santa suit once Christmas had passed? What if they judged her, and thought she was strange?
So, Blizzard soon returned to the plush toys in hopes of fixing her problem. Without giving it too much thought, she grabbed the second-best plush that she recalled from her initial visit: The Snowflake Big Cat Plush.
And so, Blizzard's Santa costume was gone, and she could once again be proud of her fur coat, but now there was a new issue. She was no longer a canine, but a feline, and there wasn't anything left that could be done.
Blizzard now has to learn to live life as a big cat. While she is slowly getting used to her new form, she still hopes that one day, she will be able to return to her original self.
(This backstory is based on an actual experience I had with the Magic Holiday Canine Plush, by the way. I had a bit too much fun writing this...)
