Steve Fayette was a ordinary human, until the day he died in a fire. The cause of the fire was unknown, and there were no survivors... Except for Steve technically, but he was 'undead' now, so did he really survive? Steve lost everything in the fire, his house, his belongings, his family, his life, and even his memory. Steve could not recall any specific details about his life, such as his child or wife's names, or even his own. All he could remember about his own name was that it started with the letter s, it was on the tip of his tongue but not matter how hard he tried he could not think of his name or anything else about his previous life without it being a blur, except for his final moments in the fiery blaze. Steve had thought it was the end for him when he had been burning to death in the house he called home, but he was proven wrong when he woke up,who knows how much time later, in a dark and empty abyss. Despite his memory being blurry he could clearly remember being a human with skin, and so it shocked him when he noticed he had no skin, or organs, he was just bones, surrounded by a purple mist. The mist felt...magical in some way, and it felt like the magic was also coursing though him... He felt...powerful.

Why was he alive again? Was he destined for something great? To play a important role in something, or was this just was the afterlife was like... Steve doubted it, there had to be something special about him being reanimated, and he wanted to find out what and why he was like this, with this magical energy he felt in his bones. Steve wondered if he had some sort of magical abilities, he waved his hand and tried to imagine something happening...And something did happen, there was a circle of light in front of him now. The light of the circle faded and in the circle could be seen was what looked to be ruins of a burnt building...like a house...his house...
Steve reached out to the circle to touch it, and his boney hand went through the image.The skeleton pulled his hand back in surprise, not having expected his hand to go though the circle, he then did it again, only this time, putting his whole arm into the round image, then his face as well, and soon his whole body of bones went through. After going through he noticed that he was now standing in the yard of the burned home. He walked towards the home and onto the ashes of it. It looked like there was nothing but ashes and a few wooden boards here and there left. The skeleton man kicked around the ashes a bit before kicking something that didn't seem like ash or wood or bricks of some, he kneeled down and moved the ashes and and wood and found a very burnt and charred thing...it was very hard to recognize but it was the face of a dead body... Steve moved more ashes and found the hand of the body, it was in a fist at the chest, as if the person died holding something. The boney many grabbed the hand and pried open the fingers, and found locket inside the fist. The locket was in the shape of a heart, and blue in color, Steve opened it and found a picture...a picture of him and two others... his wife and daughter... their faces...he could see them in the picture and remember what they locked like, and what HE used to looked like...
