Villager: Hygieia

Hygieia was the first to arrive in this land, having been wandering the realms ever since the destruction of her temples in both Ancient Greece and Rome. Born the Goddess of good health, cleanliness, and sanitation, she has since taken up the role of doctor in this land, following in her father's footsteps. Although having been born utterly female, due to her having been more exposed to her own nature as a supernatural entity, as opposed to simply interacting with mankind, she has since come to understand that she is not eternally one, for no supernatural being can be. Sometimes she is one, and sometimes she is none. Things can change, as does she. She utilizes female pronouns as that is what she was born with.

Despite having been frequently portrayed with a serpent, she instead chose the form of a vulture for her time here, due to the incredibly resilient nature of the birds. Their stomach acid is capable of destroying nigh any type of infection, and their bodies are explicitly designed to avoid bacteria festering in their feathers, almost perfect weapons against disease. And as she has chosen to take up the role of doctor, mean to eliminate illness and disease, it is only right in her eyes that she choose a form befitting of that role. Gentle, caring, but stern in managing a clean environment, she is a comfort to those who are ill, as they know that she will keep their surroundings clean to the point that they need not worry about additional infection, and that she is an above capable practitioner, after all, she is the daughter of the god of medicine himself.
