Name Inspiration: I felt like the spices basil and dill often tasted similar, so I thought it would be fitting that Basil's brother would be named Dill. It also may remind some of a certain classic cartoon character...
Character Inspiration: Skunks are another animal that I grew up around, so after a while, I grew to like them. Still, there are times when I look at Basil and see them more as their own creature. I felt having Dill around would make the bloodline a little more apparent. That isn't to say Dill doesn't have any purpose outside of that, of course.
